Mín líðan offers online psychological services. Our 10 lesson online therapy program (currently only in Icelandic) is provided by licensed psychologists through written text. Mín líðan also offers remote interviews (in English and Icelandic) where you can talk to a psychologist face-to-face in a video session.

  • Yes, Mín líðan offers two kinds of services: 1) 10 session online treatment program for depression, social anxiety and low self-esteem and 2) remote interviews.

  • Our therapy program consists of psychoeducation, assignments, exercises and questionnaires. You can message your psychologist whenever you feel like it. You communicate with your psychologist through written text.

  • In our 10 session online therapy program you will only be able to talk to your psychologist by sending him a message through written text. You will be able to see a psychologist face-to-face if you choose remote interviews.

  • Our online cognitive behavioral programs consist of psychoeducation, assignments, exercises and questionnaires. All communication with your psychologist are in written form. Remote interviews are 50 minute face-to-face sessions with a psychologist through the internet via your computer, tablet or smart phone. Remote interviews are identical to seeing a psychologist at his practice, the only difference is you do not meet in person as you will be talking online.

  • Our 10 session online therapy (currently only available in Icelandic) costs 39.900 kr.

  • Online psychotherapy suits everybody that has reached the age of 16 and is dealing with low to medium symptoms of depression, social anxiety or low self esteem. It suits those who are dealing with psychological problems as well as those who want to reduce the risk of psychological problems in the future. Online psychotherapy is also a great way to review methods already learned in previous psychotherapies.

  • Niðurstöður rannsókna hafa sýnt að: 1) HAM á netinu er árangursrík við að minnka einkenni þunglyndis og kvíða. 2) HAM á netinu getur verið jafn árangursrík og hefðbundin HAM á stofu hjá sálfræðingi. 3) Meðferðarsamband milli skjólstæðings og sálfræðings getur myndast í gegnum netið.

  • Stöðluð 10 tíma sálfræðimeðferð á netinu hentar þeim sem glíma við væg til miðlungs einkenni. Ef einkennin eru alvarlegri er mælt með fjarviðtölum. Hægt er að svara spurningalista á forsíðunni sem gefur þér vísbendingu um hvaða meðferðarleið hentar þér best.

Hugræn atferlismeðferð (HAM) er ein algengasta gagnreynda sálfræðimeðferðin við einkennum þunglyndis og kvíða. Hún hefur verið notuð í mörg ár með góðum árangri við sálrænum vanda. HAM byggir á árangursríkum, vísindalegum aðferðum þar sem kenndar eru nýjar leiðir til að takast á við andlega vanlíðan. Í HAM lærir þú að draga úr vanlíðan með því að breyta hvernig þú hugsar og hegðar þér. Samkvæmt klínískum leiðbeiningum NICE (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence), sem gefnar eru út af breskum yfirvöldum og Ísland fer eftir, er mælt með HAM á netinu sem fyrsta meðferðarúrræði við einkennum þunglyndis og kvíða.
